Find your way forward
ADHD coaching that goes deeper than productivity advice
If you’re feeling stuck, scattered, and doubting whether you’ll ever get it together, you’re not alone.
I help adults with ADHD understand what’s getting in the way, build self-trust, and make meaningful progress without forcing themselves into methods that don’t fit.
Challenges You Might Be Facing
Inconsistency
& Self-Doubt
- Alternating between hyperfocus and shut down
- Feeling like your strengths are out of reach when it matters most
- No longer trusting yourself to follow through
- Noticing meds helped at first, but not so much anymore
Overwhelm
& Paralysis
- Struggling to begin, even when you know exactly what to do
- Overflowing with brilliant ideas, but unable to take action
- Overwhelmed and paralyzed with no clue where to start
- Feeling lost, scattered, and unsure what you should be doing
Perfectionism & Procrastination
- Procrastinating and avoiding, even with the things you care about
- Stuck in research mode, endlessly searching for the “right” answer, product, or method
- Disappointed that you created the perfect system… then never used it
If any of this sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
About Me
My name is Anngela, and I’m a trained and certified Personal Coach with extensive knowledge about ADHD and a professional background in science education and instructional design. I’m based in Jacksonville, FL, but I work with clients virtually from all over.
I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult after years of trying to understand why I was always so exhausted, and why things that felt easy one day felt impossible the next. Getting a diagnosis was enlightening and medication helped, but neither came with a roadmap. I was still struggling.
What finally made a difference was developing self-compassion and learning to approach my struggles with curiosity and creativity instead of shame and pressure.
My Approach
I don’t see stuckness, procrastination, overwhelm, or inconsistency as evidence of a lack of effort or discipline. I see them as signs that something about the task, environment, expectation, or strategy may not be working.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, scattered, burned out, or even unsure where to begin, I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll figure it out together.
Individual Coaching Sessions
Coaching sessions are held online and last 60 minutes. Clients typically begin with weekly sessions, but as they make progress and feel more confident applying what they have learned, they often choose to meet biweekly or monthly.
Each session is shaped by what is most relevant to you. We may:
- Clarify what you want or need out of our time together
- Identify what is making a task or decision feel so difficult
- Untangle the thoughts, feelings, or needs pulling you in different directions
- Treat avoidance, overwhelm, or resistance as information we can work with
- Get to know the parts of you that show up around patterns like perfectionism and procrastination
- Break a goal, intention, or idea into a realistic next step
- Choose strategies that feel reasonable to try between sessions
- Reflect on what is working, what is not, and what you are learning about yourself
You will not be expected to arrive perfectly prepared. If you’re unsure where to begin, we can start there.
Who I Work With
I work with adults who are navigating challenges such as procrastination, perfectionism, overwhelm, inconsistency, self-doubt, and difficulty getting started.
You do not need an ADHD diagnosis to work with me. You’re welcome whether you have been diagnosed, suspect you may have ADHD, or simply recognize that conventional productivity advice has not worked for you.
Coaching versus Therapy
ADHD coaching focuses primarily on the present and future. While we may consider how past experiences shape what feels difficult now, our work centers on your current life, where you want to go next, and developing strategies and self-regulation skills that support you along the way.
Our conversations may include emotions, self-beliefs, internal conflict, and parts-based exploration.
However, coaching is not therapy. I do not diagnose conditions, treat mental illness, or provide trauma treatment.
Some clients work with both a coach and a therapist. Others find that one form of support is a better fit for their current needs.
During our consultation, we can discuss what you are looking for and whether coaching seems like the right kind of support for you.
